Calp (Valencian: Calp; Spanish: Calpe)

 is a municipality in the Spanish province of Alicante in the Valencia region with an area of 24 km ².

 Calpe has over 27,000 inhabitants. Calp is characterized by the 332 meter high rock El Penon de Ifach, which protrudes into the sea and miles to see. The rock is part of a small bird resort. Calp popular tourist places by north Europeans because of its ideal climate. One will find many apartment buildings on the promenade and cafes, restaurants and disco bars. The surrounding hills were packed with villas.
